Exhibition design
Museum of Performing Arts, Stockholm, Sweden 2017

Commissioned by The Swedish Performing Arts Agency & The National Property Board of Sweden, to develop the overall concept and display in the former CrownBakery, which dates to the beginning of the 17th Century, it is the first experience center for the performing arts highlights the creative contributions of dance, music, theatre and puppetry, fusing together innovation and history.

The exhibition concept was primarily based on additions, such as displays, vitrines and cabinets, which were used together with moving images, sound and light installations. Designed as a flexible system of exhibition displays, freestanding interchangeable modules of predetermined sizes formed the thematic clusters throughout the exhibition galleries. With minimal impact to the historically protected space, these additions created an impression of layers of time and space in dialogue with the original interior.
