The exhibition Transatlantic Passages by artist Sasha Huber dealt with colonial and post-colonial relationships, and included a number of large video projections together with photography and sculptures.
For this purpose, in the exhibition design a pair of distinctive slat screens divided the space into 3 sections, creating smaller, undisturbed areas mainly for the video works. The angled slats allowed spectators to perceive the adjacent spaces as if by peeking through a semi-closed venetian blind (Brise Soleil), referring to the exhibitions´ unveiling of hidden historical matters.
