WHAT ENDS EVERY DAY
Exhibition design
MAM-Rio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2015

For artist Laercio Redondos´ retrospective solo show at the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, the exhibition design featured a system of hanging screens together with two large curtains, designed specifically for one of the works on display. These curtains formed a direction, which divided the space and created different areas for videoinstallations, wall hanged artworks and sculptures.
Dealing with questions of architecture’s historical references and identity as well, the exhibition design also reflected this contextual approach, commenting on the museums iconic modernistic architecture and its background.
